It is reported that this test is currently the largest vertical take-off and landing flight test of a domestic reusable launch vehicle, and it is also the first application of a domestically independently developed deep variable thrust liquid oxygen methane engine in a 10-kilometer return flight. The test fully verified the 3.8-meter-diameter arrow body structure, large-bearing landing buffer technology, large-thrust and variable-thrust reusable engine technology, double low-temperature pressurized transportation technology, high-precision navigation guidance control technology for return and landing, and health monitoring technology, laying a technical foundation for the first flight of the 4-meter-class reusable carrier rocket as scheduled in 2025.
