At 18:58 on May 28, 2024, Beijing time, after about 8.5 hours of extravehicular activities, astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu of the Shenzhou 18 crew worked closely together. With the cooperation and support of the space station robotic arm and ground scientific researchers, the installation of space debris protection devices for the space station and the inspection of extravehicular equipment and facilities were completed. Astronauts Ye Guangfu and Li Guangsu have safely returned to the Wentian experimental module, and the extravehicular activity was a complete success. Astronaut Ye Guangfu walked into space again, and astronaut Li Guangsu performed the first extravehicular activity mission.

According to the plan, a large number of scientific experiments and technical tests will be carried out during the Shenzhou 18 manned mission, as well as astronaut crew exit activities and application payload exit missions.
